A Virtual Assistant provides support to your business, with whatever tasks you need help with. The only difference between an assistant and a Virtual Assistant is that they are not physically in your office.

At WorkSmart Digital we specialise in a multitude of things such as Admin services, Internet Research, Photoshop, Social Media, Proofreading & much more. We make it easy for you to focus on the tasks most important to your business such as growth, while we take care of the time consuming stuff!

We recommend you start out by working out what work you need doing. From here you should be able to gauge a rough amount of hours a week & month.

Most clients prefer to use a combination of email and phone calls to work with their VA, whereas others like to use WhatsApp or a to-do list on Google Sheets.

It’s completely up to you and your VA to decide. If you prefer to work in a certain way, just let us know and we’ll make sure your VA is happy to meet your requirements.

As soon as they let us know when they’ll be off, we will inform you. Your VA will hand over to another VA for that period of time, and it will be so seamless you may not even notice!

Similar to the question above, we hope that you won’t even notice! We will hand your work over to another of our VAs, who will complete your work to the same high standard as you are used to.

Simply contact us for an up to date list of what tasks have been completed, and in what time.

Where do we start! The first benefit is that you only pay for productive hours. Unlike a full time employee, you don’t have to pay our VAs for breaks, lunch, or holidays. You only pay for the exact time it takes them to carry out a task.

Secondly, it is very flexible. You are in complete control of how many hours you pay for in any given month. Again, this is the opposite of hiring a full time employee!

Third, you benefit hugely from the wealth of knowledge your VA brings to the table. Our VAs have huge amounts of experience in areas such as Social Media Management, Powerpoint Presentations, Admin, Proofreading & more. Leave your VA to do the tasks you don’t have the time (or inclination) to do.

All of our VAs are based in Suffolk, in England.

After your work has been completed, an invoice for payment will be sent.

We accept payment by BACs.

If you get towards the end of the month and it’s clear you will need more hours, we will contact you to see if you would like to increase your Monthly Plan. If so, we will change your plan (either for one month, or going forward), to decrease your cost per hour, and save you even more money!

All invoices are to be paid within 7 days of us sending it to you.

All our services are included in your hourly fees.

The only things we may have to charge you separately for are stationary, paper, and any specialist software we have to purchase in order to complete your work. This would always be discussed with you before purchasing, to make sure you are completely happy with it.

Absolutely not! We would hate for our clients to ever feel locked into any contracts, that’s why we only ask that you let us know 7 days before your next bill if you want to change Monthly Plans, or cancel your plan.

It may not be possible to accurately estimate what hours you will need each month, or you may decide after a few weeks you want to increase what we can do for you. This is no problem at all, just simply contact us and we will change your Monthly Plan ASAP.

We hope you won’t want to after you see what we can do for you and your business, but if you want to cancel at any time, simply contact us 7 days before your next bill, and we will sort this out for you.

Of course. Each of our VAs have Professional Indemnity Insurance with Hiscox, covering all work for your business, with a claim limit of £20k for any one task.

Overall there isn’t much we can’t help you with, but we unfortunately don’t offer the following:

  • Call answering
  • Cold calling
  • Spam email campaigns
  • Bookkeeping, accounting etc
  • Acting as an agent for you company with HMRC
  • Complete SEO plans (we can help with some SEO implementation, contact us to discuss your needs)
  • Affiliate Marketing campaigns

If you’re not sure what we can or can’t help with, just ask – any time.

Of course! In fact, most of our clients actually prefer it. This makes it easy to contact them, and makes them feel part of your team.

We would recommend that you use software such as Passpack to share sensitive/confidential information with your VA. These companies have invested hugely to ensuring their software is secure and encrypted, so you don’t need to worry.

You keep complete control over access to your details, and can revoke access at any time or update a password without needing to tell your VA.
